...because it means Monday is just around the corner. So, how was your weekend? Mine was great! Got off work a little early on Friday and headed over to Palm Harbour for the Scrap Pink crop. It was Friday and Saturday at Ruban Rouge. Stopped off at Starbucks for the 2.00 drink after 2 when you buy one in the morning. Got mom the Pumpkin Spice, and man was it good. Since I am a Starbucks newbie I ordered me something that was not that great tasting, should have got the same as hers as it was really yummy. Stopped over at Michaels since I had a 50 off coupon burning a hole in my pocket. I got a Martha Stewart punch.
Friday night there was a crop, in attendance was Diana, Elle, Mary, Linda, my Mom, Teri, Mimi, Kelcy, and Roz. I did not organize or sort anything - I made cards. There was a wonderful card kit that Close to My Heart had for sale last month - I made them all! They are so adorable. I am glad I got it before it sold out. Really cute stamp set that is something I normally would not have bought, but glad I did cause it came out great. Lisa gave us a wonderful little goodie bag with one of the new Bazzill scallop book. She made a really nice book out of it, I did not make mine yet. Some got theirs done and Diana took pictures, so I will do it later (maybe next weekend). After the crop we went to Applebees for some apps and drinks. Well, I learned to stick with what you know! Just cause it sounds interesting - it is not always a good think to try. Nasty drink and 2 for 1, you still drink it. Suffer thru but drink it! Stayed at the Holiday Inn instead of coming all the way home. Slept OK, very nice bed, but just could not sleep all the way thru the night.
Next morning headed back to Michaels before RR. Got 2 more Martha punches. One is that Halloween one that looks like blood dripping. But can also be used as icicles or iceing dripping. Then we were RR bound again. RR won a class taught by Leah Fung http://leahfung.typepad.com/ . It is an adorable item that we made. I love it alot. Mom and I made the same thing using the same pictures as one will be a gift for a very special person in my life. We actually broght the pictures with us to the class so it is completley done. I did not win any of the prizes, but my Mom did. She won a Teresa Collins Halloween book. If you go to her blog http://teresacollins.typepad.com/ , she has it on there. Since I will be going up to Georgia for Halloween, we already have a book that is done just awaiting the pictures.
Great night watched Dexter, Brothers and Sisters is on, and taped Desperate Housewives. Yes once again - pathic! lol Have a great night. Will blog more tomorrow.

I was so glad to see an update so I didnt have to see the first line of your last post -- I was beginging to wonder when the US Gov't was going to shut your blog down completely for such talk of our president...any who...
ok - Starbucks - Next time get a Tall Caramel Frappucino (and if you want to cut calories, order it light) That is my fav. I don't like their coffee that much. I have not had it in a VERY long time, but I do enjoy that one alot
