15 years ago today my dad passed away, he lost his battle with the C word. People say time heals all wounds, well when is that time going to come? Already cried too many times today than I care to count, and tearing up again trying to type this. Most of my life he was at sea since he was a Merchant Seaman, so I really did not have a father but a few weeks a year. He did retire when I was 18, so I did have a few years with him not out at sea.
post later back to the grind for a little bit, then I am out of this place until Tuesday. less than an hour to go and it so can not come quick enough!
