Ok, this morning my mother made a comment that I had not posted in a while, So I thought I would and post the pictures of Oscar. Well, 3 attempts later it never posted. So, I gave up. Going to post now and then attempt again later.
I notcied in my little posting log that I had a "draft" so I posted that - it did not post as first, it stayed back at the date that I originally went to post it. So, scroll down a little and you will see my beautiful Neice Jennifer and my son Cody. We are going up there again next week, but more than just a up and back next day trip. Might go to Hotlanta or Savannah or something for one of the days. Cody and I have not been anywhere other than Georgia in awhile. I am slacking as a mom! Shame on me! I try to go somewhere atleast once a year with him, but mean old mon - nope. We have been to New Orleans, Califorinia, upstate New York, even London and Paris - this year - nada. He is ok with Atlanta, there are a few places he wants to eat, and check out. He likes the odd off the wall stuff like I do. There is this burger place (yes us and our burgers) caled Vortex that I think is a must. The one he wants to see is at 5 points? Gotta think of what else to do. Did get to drag him to the Coke place before, that was a see once ok did that check off the list type place. I bet he will look up to see if there is any Indie type concerts in little hole in the wall places! I love that he likes that kind of music as we can see concerts sometimes for $5-$10. I just love my cheap son, does not care about the expensive stuff. Does not care to keep up with the Jones's. He is is own style, and does not need designer lables - his favorite shop is a Thrift store on Nebraska. His Christmas list was books from Amazon.com and a new Guitar. Not much! But that is him! Ok enough on my guy, I just am so proud that I have a keeper of a son - and we are still close. May make me mad at times, but he is "my son" so we will butt heads! I think having him back at home, has hit me that I miss him more than I am wanting to allow myself to think I do!
