Poor Poor Poor Poor Cody

Thought this picture is fitting, since this is something Cody will not be doing for a few days.......This morning at 8:30am Cody will have the pleasure of having his wisdom teeth extracted. I have been hounding him for over a month to make an appointment for the last weekend of this month when I am on vacation. What does he do? He finally calls on Tuesday morning in between exams and sets it for Thursday (today) at 8:30am! Does that sound like the 26th or after to you? Nope! Well, he kind of did do some smart thinking though I will give him credit. He is all done with his exams, so he does not have anymore classes and he does not have to be out of the dorm until 2pm on Saturday. So, he will have almost 2 days at the dorm to rest up there alone. He will not have his grandmother to baby him and watch over him (which I know he will actually want), but he also will not have a moose of a dog jumping on him either. Oscar has this thing where he thinks he is a small lap dog like Taco (love you Elle), but he is far from it! So when he sits on your lap, he takes all over you! And he misses Cody like crazy, and it is very hard to keep him down from Cody when he first comes home. And on top of all that Oscar can tell when something is not right, so he will want to help, but he actually ends up hurting you more. (Yes, he laid on my head last night trying to give me kisses, when I had another headache). He already had the scripts for the pain meds and the antiboitics, so last night we went and got them. Boy was that fun! CVS 24 hour near a College that is about to get out for Christmas break (yes Christmas not holiday lol) at 8pm, not a pretty sight! And me standing there wanting to just go home and get to bed, I was about to scream, but I kept my cool for the most part. Came home took my pill and went right to sleep, but of coarse that there was a big mistake! As I woke up at 2am and now wide awake! Going to try to go back to bed for a little bit but doubt I can. As I type that I get a yawn, so maybe I can. I will think like the little enjine that could lol.

As my good friend Dee (thinking about you, best not to call at this time of morning lol) would say....Make it a great day! Posted by Picasa

I wish your son my best...I had 3 removed at once and still, after 6 years, remember the pain! Hope it is better done younger!

Can't wait to see you, Smoochie Girl, at Winter Retreat!

Hey Michele at least he's going through with it! My son, Grant, got all the way to the morning of the apt.....then drank water...which I didn't know....he figured it wouldn't hurt to do so..., waited in the drs. offfice which had sloted out 2 hours for him....went to sign paper that verified nothing by mouth after midnight....the rest is history...I walked out very MAD!!

See you won't have that experience!

Good wishes to Cody!
