Why do the weeks drag and the weekends fly by? It is not fair at all! Well, had a wonderful time at the crop Saturday, well the time I was able to be there! Had to work 4:30-9pm wish turned into 4:30 to 9:15. Made it back in time to see a few people off. Was so happy to see that Kip and Jayne was still at the crop when I got back. Cody was home most of the day using the computer, and he stayed the night. Did not get to spend much time with him either, since I was at the crop and work - but he was sweet and stayed. Since he stayed up all night, he slept in most all of the day. I had been so excited about the neighbors not being loud, well they made up for it Saturday night / morning! Kept me awake most of it too!
Sunday was a lazy day too! Had so many things I needed to do, but just did not want to do it! I just lounged around most of the day, and then Cody and I went to the movies. We finally saw 300. WOW what filming in this thing. It was a little slow at first, but it was telling the story leading up to all of the fights. Some of it has you saying - "oh come on this is far fetched". But the filming made it an amazing movie. Brought Cody home (well back to the dorms), and made it just in time to watch the series finale of Rome on HBO. I was a tad disappointed in the finale! I guess since they knew it was over - why go overboard? Why go out with a few heads rolling - litterly? In a couple of weeks Sopranos starts back, and it will be the last one for them too! Same with The Wire (the main guy in that show was in 300), so I guess I need to email Maria - our HBO rep and ask her - what will HBO have coming up? All the good shows are ending or have ended? And Showtime is getting new ones? Do they not want to stay as the number 1 movie channel? Holy crap, I side barred in a way talking work....
Speaking of work, I have to send my boss an email today with the list of everything I do. I was supposed to meet with him last week to find "the position" best suited for me to bid on. I guess I will finally meet with him after that? Well, the email is due at the end of today, so I already know today will not be the day either. So, lets see if I actually get to meet with him before all of the positions are already filled and I am screwed once again? Well, I took it open myself to meet with HR, sent them an email on Friday and already got an response back that I have a meeting with them today. Now, that is how it was supposed to be with my boss. I am not waiting on him first to meet with HR, I can not - or no telling when that would be as well. If by Wednesday I do not have a meeting with my boss, before I leave - I will email the Director and let her know. Had to do this once before, and she seems to think that issue has been resolved - well nope it has not. Well, let me stop this now, as I am getting myself upset and then I have to go into work with a happy face pretending like nothing is wrong, when in fact everything is wrong. I am trying so hard to keep my head up. I have too much time and effort put into this place, I can not walk away. I do not want to walk away, but I may not have a choice. But heah, at least I have a job, could be alot worse. So, I will take what I can to still have a job. I am just hoping that it will all work out, as long as I have my Saturdays off, I will be set.
Oh yeah.....Kip, thanks again so much for Mom's surprise! She was beyond thrilled and happy! And Linda, thanks so much for letting me bring some to her, she agrees with everyone else - WOW that was some damn good soup!
Well, as Dee would say.....Make it a great day!

Hey there,
Showtime has some good shows. 2 of my favorite shows on are Showtime, well I really like 3 of them. (The L Word, Weeds, and Sleeper Cell) Can't wait for Sopranos but then again dont' WANT them to end! Just like SITC last year, didn't want to see it end either. Aw well, all good things come to an end eventually, right!
I know it's hard...but just remember you're strong.
