Today all day on VH1 they are playing the Tribute Concert to her that her sons put on. And yes, in between cleaning I have been watching and listening. They have been having her favorite performers, some of the sons, and then they are showing little clips of interviews of people that she touched their hearts when meeting for their charities. Right now while I am typing this they are doing some Andrew Lloyd Weber musicals by different performers they just had Andrea Bocelli and now Josh Grobin doing songs from Phantom of the Opera! In case any of you want to see it, they will have highlights on NBC and also VH1.com. Can you believe the end of next month will be 10 years that she was taken from this place way before her time. Yes, I am one of the many Americans that just adored and still adore her. I hope that Horse Face Hag is sitting at home watching this, and each time they show the interviews and pictures of Diana she has another glimps of what she will never be and never amount to! Well, guess I better end this and get back cleaning / organizing. Before I do I will end it with Elton John's Candle in the Wind that he changed and sang at her furneral. He said back then he would never sing it again, wonder if the boys asked him to sing it today? He sang one song at the opening, and he will probably close it since they said he will be back on later....
Goodbye England's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
You called out to our country
And you whispered to those in pain
Now you belong to heaven
And the stars spell out your name
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend ever will
Loveliness we've lost
These empty days without your smile
This torch we'll always carry
For our nation's golden child
And even though we try
The truth brings us to tears
All our words cannot express
The joy you brought us through the years
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned our long before
Your legend ever will
Goodbye England's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
Goodbye England's rose
From a country lost without your soul
Who'll miss the wings of your compassion
More than you'll ever know
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And you footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend ever will
