Finally in Georgia

What a road trip that was! It took 7 1/2 hours when it normally takes me 3 1/2 to 4. I was 2 miles from the Georgia state line, and we came to a complete stop for 3 hours! There was some kind of a very bad accident at mile marker 1 in Georgia. We had to drive in the emergency lane going past where the accident was. It was a big mess. When we went by they were still cleaning up the debre. They had a bulldozer getting it all up off the interstate. They had dirt throw all across the interstate too - 3 lanes to get up whatever spilled. The worst part of it all is that it got me here at 10:30pm so the boys were all fast asleep. I left work early to make sure to get here in plenty of time to see them - UGH. But the main thing is that we made it here safe and sound.

Well, I hope others that are going to their private crop have a safe trip, and a fun time - not too much with out us poor souls that were not invited lol. We will have to make up for it at the Birthday crop!

Take call...will blog for a moment when they are asleep tomorrow.

UGH!! What a pain in the butt. I HATE getting stuck in traffic like that. You have no idea what's going on & how long you will be stopped. 3 hours. I would have gone nuts!

Glad you finally made it. Have a blast with the boys and give them lots of sugar for us too.
