One of Cody's best friend since sophmore year of high school (picture is of them at Prom where she was crowned Prom Queen)had a tragic event happen to her. She normally goes to Florida State, but she was doing one semester in Panama at the campus they have there. I keep in touch with her every so often thru "Myspace", well I went to check on her and I read some one post to her that they hope she was ok - and sorry to hear - but it did not say what was the issue. I emailed her to find out what happened, and here is her responce: My friend Cox got into a car accident here in Panama. Two of the kids in the car died, and Cox and another girl lived. Their car fell 400 feet off a cliff. It's a miracle anyone survived. I'm coming home early. I need to be home. But he's doing fine and I'm okay. I love you!" Poor thing has been there four months, almost time to come home - and then this happened. She has been posting some pictures on her myspace page of all the fun she has been having - and then this happened weeks before coming home. Far from home for all of these kids there, my heart just goes out to them all!

Wow, that is so scarey. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her friends and the families.
How awful. I'm glad she wasn't in the car too. I hate when bad things happen to young kids. What a shame and how awful for their family and friends.
How is Cody? Did he know the other kids?
How horrible and I'm glad she's okay. Don't blame her for wanting to come home.
What an awful thing to go through at such a young age. I'm glad she is okay. I'd want to be home too.
