We are Marshall

I finally went to the movies last night. Even with the thousand things I need to get done, my friend Joan told me I needed to go. So we went and saw We are Marshall with my boyfriend Matthew McConaughey in it. OK, the Sexiest man alive is still hot in his 70's clothes and the hair the way they did it! It was such a moving movie. Since I was only 3 when it happened, of coarse I did not know the back story. I only knew what was said about it in their interviews. So I read up on the story months ago when I thought I was going to see it. Joan did not read anything, so she did not know what was happening, did know it was a true story - but did not know the severity of the story. I had to explain to her a few things to catch her up to par. In the movie Kimberly Williams Paisley played Matthew's wife. Man how lucky is she? Married to Brad Paisley and getting to kiss my boyfriend in a movie - lucky girl! It also had Ian McShane in it, love him in Deadwood! He plays the part oh so well! It was strange not not hearing him say some very bad words.

Speaking of Deadwood.....yesterday at work Maria from HBO was at the office for a quick visit. She stopped my the office to let me know she got my card (she fell and broke her leg a few months ago) and to talk shop. She knows I am a big HBO fan and wanted my thoughts on this season's shows that have aired of Rome. We also got on the subject of Deadwood, and she informed me that it may not be back. They are in talks right now. Since the show is so expensive to make, they may scratch it. OK first they end Carnival after 2 seasons and now Deadwood? UGH! They may do 2 2 hour movies to wrap it up. Cause they left us hanging (so to speak). Alot of the charters have been doing TV shows, so they have been getting parts during the off season. The ex "lover" of John Stamos on ER is on Deadwood. She is night and day roles from ER to Deadwood!

Well, gotta run and get ready for work. Only today and tomorrow to go at work! I am off on Friday. Hum I wonder why I am off on Friday? Let me think? Oh yeah, can we say Winter Retreat? Only the main thing I have been waiting on forever! Only waiting since I drove away last year! Oh, this year I am not leaving early and going to work. There is a WWE ppv event that night just like last year, well last year they made me work it, this year I put my foot down and said - NO! Make it an excellent day!
