Bad Blogger

I just realized I have not blogged in a few days, so while I was on here checking my mail and trying to catch up on my mail I thought I better Blog.

My day at work started out bad, another co-worker was lost to Cancer. She has been out of the office since April, she came back in June for about a month but only worked a couple of weeks and could not manage. I called her "My Virgo Sister" as we had the same birthday (September 5Th). I called her on her birthday, and she was so excited that I remembered. I asked her if she went to Todai for her free Sushi birthday lunch, she said she wasn't able to - but maybe next year. She Had her hopes. I would call her every couple of weeks as she was in and out of hospital stays, different family member stays, and sleeping. It was hard to catch her, but I wanted her to know I was thinking of her. Just last night making out some of my cards I was thinking of all the ones I needed to still make (yes I am out) and she was on that list. Shin, My Virgo Sister, your at home now in peace. I love you.

Work will have a light at the end of the tunnel. Now the tunnel seems to look like it is running from here to Pluto, but hopefully it will come in a little closer. Now speaking of Pluto....oh my goodness most of you know I am a Quickutz freak. Well, sure enough they released something this month that I have to have one of EACH! They came out with Dinosaurs and Outer Space shapes. See I just love shapes, and oh man, I could not refuse. I called up one of the stores and put them all on hold. Will probably get them for myself tomorrow. But then I should probably not get them all at once. I went on the 2peas message board and someone posted that they got to play with the new Revolution and it was awesome! You can put 4 of your 2x2 inch dies on the plate to cut at once! That will cut words out quicker, that will cut out some shapes quicker, man oh man, and right now if you pre-order from The Scrapbook Shop you can get a Free 4inch die valued at 16.99 for members of the QK club which I am, so HUM. And they are giving the discount. So I really thing I will not get the shapes for now and get that for my Christmas present to myself? Only 104.99 for QK club members with them and a 16.99 die free, and I looked at the dies and there are some really flippin cute ones. I am so drooling! I guess tomorrow after work I might run by there and pre-pay for one, I do not want to mis out on the free die special.

Tomorrow night is Whimsodoodle's Open House Christmas Special / Quickutz Meeting. I guess I will go over there. I have to pick up my die from last month ( I think) and then my die for this month - wonder what exciting one it will be? Wish it would be one of the ones that was just released so I would not have to buy one of them - but I doubt that. Now the Moon or Stars would be a universal one that would be cool they could give us.
